Once I could see the good in me

Colouring holding the world inside
Now all the world is grey to me

Who heed me not, let all your treasure make you

Vala was born the only daughter to Augyst Rain. The young pale, dark red hair beauty grew up knowing no father. Though her mother was loving, and took great pride in being with and teaching Vala the ways of being female and the aristocracy, Vala rarely saw her mother.

At age sixteen, Vala discovered her mother's secret. Augyst served a dark beast by the name of Syrius. Yet, that was only one piece of the puzzle. After confronting her mother, Vala was invited to join Syrius' dark world. Curiosity got the best of the young woman. Yet, she did not fully commit.

Surprisingly, Syrius was quite lenient with the girl. He allowed her to watch and carry out duties that did not require her to fully commit.

As she became a woman, reaching her twenties, Vala dabbled in the dark arts. Like her mother, she was aging slower than those around her. Vala could not find the answer to a puzzling question.

However, on her twenty-first birthday, another level of her mother's secret was revealed. Vala overheard he mother speaking to the dark beast. In the conversation, Augyst revealed Vala's father. In a fit of rage and confusion, feeling betrayed, Vala left her mother behind.

Vala now carried the knowledge that she was forever cursed by a darkness that could never be exercized. She traveled the lands, becoming a poet and painter. Men seeked to capture the heart of this beautiful woman. Yet, Vala went to great lengths at keeping all at bay. She grew cold, sarcastic, walled off.

One night, while reading a book of ancient lore, Vala met a strange, beautiful man. Seducing her, the man embraced her, making her one of the undead. Now, Vala was twice cursed. Dual darkness enveloped the woman, making her rage within boil and brim near the edge. She disappeared, going into isolation.

On occasion, there were rumors of a beautiful pale woman, possibly sent from the Gods, that brought death upon those who sinned. No one knew her name. No one could never remember hearing her speak. Many described her as a dream. A ghost of the fears that plagued man.

Vala possesses icy grey-blue eyes that could mesmerize any man, woman, or child. She stands five feet four inches. Silky curls of dark crimson frame her delicate face. Her skin is flawless and the color or pearls. Lush, pillowy lips of red are seem to always be in a wicked, knowing smile.
