A four year old boy whose parents were murdered when he was three. He was put under the guardianship of Katreana, one of his aunts. Intellegent, curious, and imaginative, he became like a son to both Katreana and Peiallai. He has a mop of touseled black hair and crystal blue eyes.

After his parents' death, he began having dreams of his father approaching him and talking to him.. Eventually, it became real to him. Katreana and Peiallai only thought it was his way of getting over the death. However, it was Syrius. Eventually, the boy wanted to be with his "father" so Syrius took him. The boy is now under the care of Vanera, withou any memory of Katreana and Peiallai being family.

The boy was returned to Peiallai secretly one night by Vanera. He had been caught in a limbo where he had not aged...physically and mentally. Katreana and Peiallai were at a loss. The boy should have been seven years of age by now. There was nothing they could do, but let him develop from where he was.

Presently, Jaysen is twenty-six years old, holds the position of the commander for the army of Falconmyght, and married to a seamstress named Alexis. They have a three year old son named Damon.
