Syrius, a beast of unnatural power, watched as time passed, waiting for the right one to begin his family of darkness. So, it began with Delilah, shortly after her seduction of Samson. He approached the woman with promises of ever lasting life and riches beyond her wildest dreams. She quickly accepted. She became the first seductress of Soul Assassins, and so began The Echysp.

Let us describe what you are about to know. The women of this Clan range in age,background, realm, plane, and race. The youngest is a fifteen year old girl. Each is chosen for the way she can handle men. Therefore, every man's desire and fantasy is within this group. Each is intiated within the Clan in a certain way. After, they have passed, they begin transformation and training. They are no longer the female they were. They become unfeeling and dangerous women. Their purpose? To steal the souls of men.
Every woman possesses similar powers. They can shapeshift into anything possible...female form. They can become every and any man's desires, lusts, and fantasies...as well as their nightmares. Furthermore, they each have at least one demoness form. What they turn to is dangerous. Each woman has her own form of defense. However, try to kill them, and they will only return to haunt your dreams and soul. It is hard to kill one without a soul. Yes, they have no soul. As soon as they join Syrius, their soul is his.
They roam the Planes and Times seducing men of great power, prestige, and rank. Of the souls they capture, a part of goes directly to Syrius. What he does with them is unknown to anyone.
A war began when Peiallai betrayed and revolted against Syrius. Enraged, he sent assassins to retrieve her. Little did he realize who would become involved. Katreana Nissassa, once a part of his ranks, received word of her sister's escape and soon took steps to protect Peiallai at any cost. Along the way, Peiallai had fallen in love with Sinnyn, a dark man of mysterious past, and with him, he brought the Citoahc.
Then, it suddenly stopped.
